J-Town is back on Sunday, September 11th at 6pm. All ages are welcome to come enjoy the family-friendly, fun-filled event. Uncle Skeeter, Pastor Tim and the J-Town cast share the monthly children's church theme through skits, songs and memorable moments of audience participation.
Stay & Play begins on Tuesday, September 6th at 9:45am and is every other Tuesday. Children and parents ages five and under are welcome to join Ms. Laura for songs and activities. New themes each week and this year she has planned special Friday events!
Fall Fest/Trunk or Treat is on Wednesday, October 26th. No dinner or bible study. Free and open to the community.
Adult bible study is at 6:30pm, we currently study the book of Daniel. Nursery, pre-k and activities for k-young adult are available at 6:30pm.
The church picnic is Wednesday, September 7th at 5:15pm. No Bible study. Bring a dish to share. No sign ups required.
Wednesday night dinners begin again on September 14th.
Getting to the Heart of Parenting will be led by Pastor Charlie and Janice Baker beginning Wednesday, September 14th at 6:30pm. This is a 5-week class with video clips and discussion time. Please email the church office to sign up, tfwb@tfwb.org.

Baptism: If you have decided to follow Jesus and you are ready to take the next step and get baptized-we want to celebrate with you! We offer water baptism services twice a year. Please use the contact form below to schedule a time to meet with the Pastor about this next step in your faith journey. Thursday, September 22 at 6pm. Join Pastor Alan, Pastor Tim and Pastor Willie at Townsend Church for an evening of cornhole. Spend some time connecting with other men from the church. The following week the men's Bible study will begin again, Bible study topic to be TBD.
Our first Upward game is Saturday, September 17th. Visit our Upward donation wall in the foyer. Grab a tag and return the items to the fellowship hall by September 7th. All items on the wall help to stock our concession stand. If you are looking for another way to support this community outreach, see Brandie on Sunday, August 28th to volunteer in the concession stand or help with set-up and break down. We are also looking for volunteers with medical experience to help in the first aid tent!
