Seek & Find

Throughout the Old and New Testaments, we read consistent reminders, prophecies and promises that clearly state, “Seek the Lord, you will find Him” (Deut. 4:9, Prov. 8:17, Jeremiah 29:2, Matt 6:33). The Lord uses prophets, kings, disciples, the Messiah himself and His written word to relay this message. He desires to be in communion with us, to revive our relationship with Him. Seek the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, you will find Him.

    O Lord, Revive Thy Work
During times of violence, injustice and immorality we call out to the Lord as Habakkuk did, “O Lord, revive thy work.” The prophet’s prayer reminds us that revival is a work of the Lord. As he praises the previous works of the Lord, he confirms to us that the Lord is trustworthy. Trust His work. Surrender your heart. Encounter His merciful revival.

    A Real Adversary
From the beginning of creation, our adversary sought to oppose the work of God, imitate the work of God and destroy all that is good. Satan is REAL, he seeks destruction. God is REAL, he offers protection and a life more abundant (John 10:10). The scriptures advise us to be sober and vigilant (1 Peter 5:8), take up the shield of faith (Ephesians 6:13-17), put on the breastplate of faith and love, the helmet of salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:6-8) and to stand firm. Stand firm. Choose truth over lies. Stand firm. Choose restoration over destruction. Stand firm. Look past the earthly storm and fix your hope on the promise that nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).
