Sermon Notes

In Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians, he urges them to put on the WHOLE armor of God. As he describes each piece of armor and the protection it offers, we see the significance of this analogy for those living under the Roman Empire but also its relevance to our daily spiritual life. God provides this protection for believers, however we need to “put on’ (v11) and “take up” (v13) this armor to receive the power of His protection. Let us encourage each other to 1) maintain the armor of God DAILY, 2) deny self DAILY, 3) take up the cross DAILY 4) be filled with the spirit DAILY & 5) rise up DAILY.
