The Basics: Jay and Annette were married on May 16, 1987 and have been serving together in local church ministry for 22 years.  They moved to Delaware in 1992 where Jay served as Senior Pastor in New Castle before moving to Townsend in 2000.  Jay and Annette have three boys: Jonathan (20), Caleb (16), and Mathew (13). Jay is primarily responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the church as well as the preaching and teaching on Sunday.

Birthday: September 6, 1965

Education:  Jay has a B.A. in Pastoral Theology, and has recently completed a Master of Arts in Religion (MAR) from Liberty Theological Seminary. Pastor Jay is continuing his pursuit of a Master of Divinity Degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.

Places to Go: I love the beaches and the mountains, sporting events, Starbucks, The Coffee Beanery, and a good bagel shop.

Listening These Days:  Various styles of Christian Music, some Blues, Oldies from my growin'-up days.  I like to listen to great preachers and inspirational speakers.  I love to listen to Jeff Allen and Aaron Wilburn, both comedians.

Reading: Biography, WW II History, Presidential History, Civil War, and theology books that broaden my thinking.

TiVo: Some sporting events, CSI, The Unit, 24, American Idol, Law and Order (I love courtroom drama), Smallville.

Favorite Teams:  Alabama Crimson Tide, Atlanta Braves, North Carolina Tarheels, Dallas Cowboys, Boston Celtics

Movies:  Drama, Non-Fiction Movies, History (One of my favorites is The Great Escape)
